Nothing creates a more Instagram-worthy photo op than a backdrop of gorgeous summer blooms.  Chicago Parent recently shared some flower fields that are definitely worth the drive during these last weeks of summer. Here are 5 of our favorites:

Von Bergen’s Country Market

Can’t Miss Moment:  Enjoy the lovely beauty surrounding you as you meander through the sunflower maze with ample photo stops including oversized chairs and platforms

Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch

Can’t Miss Moment: As you stroll through, take your pick of sunflowers from the many varieties that you see. (Don’t forget to borrow their pruning shears to cut your own sunflower.)

M&D Farms

Can’t Miss Moment: Want photos with your fur babies?  Leashed pets allowed in the sunflower field.

Nettle Creek Lavender Farm

Can’t Miss Moment: This small farm has been growing lavender for more than 20 years with over 1,000 lavender plants blooming at various times from June-September.

Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch

Can’t Miss Moment: Frolic through the 4-acre wildflower meadow and sunflower field. Taking a photo in front of the vintage truck full of flowers is priceless!
