Can’t tell the difference between a pinot grigio and a pinot noir? Join us for a 45-minute seminar led by Certified Sommelier and Wine Educator Christopher Rowell. You’ll sample 5-6 wines and learn the basics about varietals, establishing a foundation to better enjoy wine. Then join in on all the fun of Wine on the Fox with the confidence to pick out your new favorites!

About the presenter:
Christopher Rowell joined Breakthru Beverage Illinois as Wine Educator in January 2018, bringing over 20 years of fine wine industry expertise to the table. After the completion of a culinary program at the Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago, Rowell took a bold career detour in 1997, leading to his dream job. Fueled by passion, Rowell studied wines from A to Z, traveled extensively to wine regions around the globe, and garnered multiple industry certifications, including Certified Sommelier and Certified Wine Educator.

The seminar will take place during Wine on the Fox 2019, in the community room of the adjacent Village Hall. Wine on the Fox is free and open to the public. Tickets to this special seminar are $10, or two for $18, and can be purchased below.
