Come dressed up in your Halloween costume to partake in the festivities, and then get ready to change into your swimsuits for a splashing good time in the pool This is a FREE community event -- all are welcome!

DETAILS: The City of West Chicago and the West Chicago Public Library District hosts this spook-tacular afternoon full of fang-tastic fun for the whole family in downtown West Chicago each year! Every year is a little different, but residents can count on a fun experience that includes the City of West Chicago's Downtown Trick-or-Treating and the West Chicago Library District's Trunk-or-Treat.

DETAILS: The Channahon Park District will be collaborating with Special Recreation of Joliet and Channahon (SRJC) for this inclusive event full of fun and treats for all! Dress up in your Halloween costume or your coziest fall gear and get ready to gather tons of treats and goodies! Feeling adventurous? Hope on our hayrack for a spook-tacular adventure through the trails in Community Park!
To help accommodate our sensory sensitive friends, we will have quiet trunk or treat from 5:30-6PM with no lights or loud noises, low music, and no masks. Trunks have also been encourage to hand out both edible and non-edible treats.
The Channahon Park District will be handing out reusable bags with goodies to the first 100 participants!
Channahon Park District Special Recreation will also be handing out bags during the quiet half hour!
