Strawberry Festival at Windy Acres Farm

We are pleased to host “Wheels of Agriculture”, a fun family interactive quiz show game!

During Strawberry Fest, we will be grilling out – Brats, Burgers and Fresh Sweet Corn (10 am – 5 pm). Our Beer Garden will be open (10 am – 5 pm) and there will also be live music or DJ!

Over the past few years, we have planted nearly 500,000 tulip bulbs across 7 acres of our farm. These beautiful flowers stay dormant all winter and pop up in the spring to bring a vibrant mixture of colors to our farm. Mother nature tells the flowers when to bloom, so keep an eye on our bloom-o-meter to find the perfect time to visit.
The flower fields are fully accessible for strolling and taking those perfect pictures. We know you can’t resist bringing some of that beauty home, so we have specific fields set aside for you to cut and purchase your own tulips.
Not only is the tulip field ready for your visit, but this is also a great time to enjoy the warm weather and outdoor activities! Admission to the Midwest Tulip Fest also includes access to some of our featured attractions on the FunFarm, so be sure to plan for a whole day of fun! On the weekends come enjoy some live music, and grab a bite from one of our food options.
We celebrate our Dutch heritage by bringing the Midwest Tulip Fest to Illinois and we can’t wait to share this breath-taking view with you!

An event unlike any other… we are bringing the Dino Farm Adventure to you! Our farm is transporting back in time to bring you over 20 life-sized dinosaur animatronics for an experience you will never forget.
While dinos have been extinct for millions of years now, these ‘fearfully great lizards’ still fascinate and excite many. Paleontologist are continuing to find fossils all around the world, and you may even dig up some fossils on the farm.

FEATURES: In 2024 it will be held June 19-23. Geneva Swedish Days is over 70 years old and celebrates the heritage of Swedish immigrants who settled in the area. Craft beer tent, a carnival, a Kids’ Day, nightly entertainment and a parade are part of the festivities. Merchants host special sales and in-store events, as well as sponsoring main festival programs and donating in-kind services. Food stands throughout the downtown area tempt visitors with Swedish and American menus.

FEATURES: The Sandwich Fair, first started as an annual livestock show in DeKalb County. Held yearly, Wednesday–Sunday after Labor Day since 1888, it is one of the oldest continuing county fairs in the state of Illinois. Large crowds stroll throughout the beautiful tree lined grounds, all five days of the fair, which has something of interest for everyone.

Some of the area’s most popular restaurants, chefs, and vendors will pop-up shop to serve unique strawberry-centric cuisine. Featured items usually include things like strawberry BBQ sauces, deep fried strawberries on a stick, chocolate strawberry popcorn, strawberry kabobs, strawberry jams, strawberry fudge, funnel cakes with strawberries, strawberry smoothies, strawberry blintz, strawberry banana Nutella crepes, chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry donuts, strawberry shakes, strawberry ice cream, chocolate strawberry sundaes, and much more. A wide variety of non-strawberry-centric vendors will also be on-hand also dishing out other summertime delights. For those who like to mix it up, Strawberry Fest includes live music and family entertainment. Naperville Fine Arts and Artisan Festival

FEATURES: Since 1959, the club has presented a free art fair in the summer. The longest continuously running art fair in Illinois, this event brings a weekend of art and artistry to Naper Settlement in a free, fun, and family-friendly environment. Held on the weekend after Father’s Day, the event features over 100 artists, a Silent Auction, Empty Bowls fundraiser for food pantries, a free children’s activity tent, an interactive Community Mural, 3D chalk artist, balloon artist, music, and food.

Ribs, Rhythm & Brews Fest

FEATURES:
Bigger and better than ever! More ribs, beer and music! The Fest will be held August 26 from 5 pm to 11 pm downtown Sycamore on Elm Street and City Lot 1 & 2. RR&B Fest consists of award-winning rib vendors from across the region, craft beer, and crowd-pleasing musical entertainment from headliner, Back Country Roads.
Guests can raise their glasses and sip craft beer! Please stay tuned as we announce this years craft beer line-up. Delicious ribs and side dishes will be served up by multiple vendors and compete for the title of RR&B Fest Champion.
Mr. Myers Band opens the fest at 5pm! Back Country Roads have played at events such as Country Thunder and opened for national acts such as Phil Vassar, Darryl Worley, David Lee Murphy, Neal McCoy, Steel Magnolia, Keith Anderson and Easton Corbin. They play mostly current Top 40 Country hits, with a few older selections and some originals in the mix as well. DJ Kris from Behind the Beats will be playing from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

FEATURES: The festival including bands and fireworks are funded through the carnival, food, beverages purchases. Please help fund the event by purchasing. (The Village of Bartlett, Police, and Park District provide financial contribution as well as manpower to support the event).
The festival grounds are located at the corner of S. Stearns and S. Bartlett Road near the Bartlett Community Center, 700 S. Bartlett Road.
*No pets are allowed on the festival grounds. Pricing and events are subject to change.
The Bartlett 4th of July Festival includes a carnival with rides and games, food, beverages, FREE entertainment, a Parade, on site presence for non profit groups, fireworks, and a great sense of community pride.

Elgin 4th of July Celebration

FEATURES:
The City of Elgin is excited to celebrate the Fourth of July with a parade, concert and fireworks, all occurring on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
Food trucks suited for various tastes will be parked on Grove street adjacent to Festival Park starting at 4:00 p.m. A free concert featuring various live music acts from across the United States will take place at Festival Park, located at 132 S Grove Avenue at 7:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy this all day event. No outside alcohol or pets will be allowed at the concert and fireworks. The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks show beginning at approximately 9:20 p.m. and lasting approximately 20-30 minutes.
Parade Information
Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. located at the intersection of Douglas and Slade. The parade concludes at the intersection of Douglas and Highland, near City Hall.

Naperville Ale Fest

FEATURES:
The 2024 Naperville Ale Fest will feature over 100 unique craft beers and some of the area’s favorite food trucks. Situated on the grounds of the Naper Settlement, with downtown Naperville as a backdrop, it's the ideal setting to experience craft beer.
FEE: $60 per ticket, $70 for early entry.
